This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of up to 250°F. This configuration does not include a wear ring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and across the line starting. The motor utilizes a 324TS NEMA frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, featuring AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model maintains a 40°C ambient rating and a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
