This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. It is equipped with a 10" bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft fitted with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump uses greasable bearings and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 254 T frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This configuration operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation and has a PEI value of 0.94.
