This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a removable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports. The rear pullout design allows for internal servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge facilitates a simplified piping layout and self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 1 HP Baldor motor operating at 1750 RPM. The motor features an ODP enclosure and a JM frame style with feet. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3PH, and the motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting method is across the line.
