This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal construction utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. It is configured with a mechanical seal containing a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The casing is equipped with suction and discharge pressure tappings for system monitoring.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a NEMA 326 TS frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards, and the unit holds a DOE PEI rating of 0.9. The pump is rated for use in a 40°C ambient temperature environment.
