This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge. The pump utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It includes a dry shaft design consisting of a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 324 T frame. It is configured for 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power with across the line starting and a 40 °C ambient rating. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings, and the pump has a PEI value of 0.93.
