This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a JM frame style with feet and is rated for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is designed for a 40°C ambient temperature with standard counter-clockwise rotation. This equipment has a PEI rating of 0.89.
