This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly integrates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal utilizes ceramic seating surfaces and EPT rubber components for sealing. Engineered to handle internal pressures up to 125 PSI, the pump provides consistent hydraulic service within various system applications.
Powered by a 100 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, the system includes Aegis grounding and utilizes a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured without a disconnect or bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
