This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact. The pump uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Integrated pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring system performance.
This pump is configured with a 10 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC Baldor motor in a 215 T-frame. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is premium efficiency-rated and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler to connect the pump and motor. This unit features permanently lubricated sealed-for-life bearings and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
