This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal configuration is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and AEGIS shaft grounding to protect internal components.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is a 324 T-frame configuration and supports 230-460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option. The pump system is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA. The equipment operates in a 40°C ambient environment, meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
