This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a greasable bearing frame, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a dry shaft configuration that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG motor. It uses a 256 T frame TEFC enclosure and is configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standard efficiency requirements and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This unit is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. The assembly provides a DOE PEI value of 0.97 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment with CCW rotation.
