This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections, ANSI Class 125 flanges, and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact with circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes gauge ports on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. It is configured for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power and uses across-the-line starting. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a coupler guard. This model meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, has a DOE PEI of 0.91, and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
