This end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a dynamically balanced stainless steel impeller. A dry shaft design protects the internal stainless steel shaft from contact with circulating fluid by incorporating a bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly integrates a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum pressure of 125 PSI. This pump provides a center-line discharge for positive air venting and includes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The motor provides 10 HP with premium efficiency, housed in a TEFC enclosure, operating at 3450 RPM, and integrating Aegis grounding for operation on 380-460V / 3PH power, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.47. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
