This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge facilitates self-venting and reduces piping strain. Standard features include pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps for the installation of a filter.
This pump is configured with a 5 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a 184JM frame with feet. It operates on 200V/60Hz/3PH power using an across-the-line starting method. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding, NEMA standard construction, and CCW rotation for a 40°C ambient environment. This unit has a PEI of 0.86 and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
