This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. It is configured with a 184 JM frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure. The power requirement is 230-460/60/3PH. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. This pump utilizes an across the line starting option and has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
