This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing temperature resistance up to 250 °F. The casing includes gauge ports for suction and discharge connections and a drain port at the bottom.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP, 3450 RPM WEG motor in a TEFC enclosure and NEMA 286 TS frame. It operates on a 380/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.9. It is rated for a 50 °C ambient temperature.
