This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge connections. The pump uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It includes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. The motor is a JM frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure, configured for a 380V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The electrical configuration includes an across the line starting option, a 50°C ambient temperature rating, and NEMA standard compliance. The unit features CCW rotation and has a PEI rating of 0.92. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
