This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the process fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly provides flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports. The rear pullout construction allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor motor in a 256 JM frame with feet. The motor is a TEFC, premium efficiency model meeting MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3 with across the line starting. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions. This unit has a PEI value of 0.89. The top center line discharge configuration assists in simplifying piping layouts.
