This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for operation at temperatures up to 225 °F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is a NEMA 215 T-frame configuration compatible with a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. This pump assembly features an AEGIS shaft grounding device, a Woods coupler, and a welded base with an integral drip pan. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards in accordance with MG1-12.55, and the pump system has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
