This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and provides flush seal line taps. The top centerline discharge configuration allows for a simplified piping layout.
This pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor that operates at 1150 RPM. It is configured for a 380V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is built to a 254 JM frame style with feet and meets NEMA standard requirements, including Super E premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly operates in a 40°C ambient environment. The rear pullout design allows for servicing the pump without disturbing the system piping.
