This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the fluid. The internal mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is drilled and tapped for gauge ports at both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor in a 284TS NEMA frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding with a PEI rating of 0.95. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration is rated for 40°C ambient operation.
