This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and features Across the Line starting. The motor uses a NEMA 286 T frame and meets Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards with a 40°C ambient rating. The pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes a Woods coupler to connect the motor to the pump. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
