This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing the pump without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and provides self-venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor uses frame 256JM with feet for mounting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This model uses a standard across-the-line starting option and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
