This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting and simplified piping layouts. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections are provided.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor in a 182 JM frame with feet. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, premium efficiency meeting NEMA MG1-12.55, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230-460V/60/3PH, with across-the-line starting and a 40°C ambient rating. The unit is configured for CCW rotation and features a PEI of 0.86. The motor frame includes integral feet for mounting.
