This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing an operating temperature rating of 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP motor. The unit uses a NEMA T-Frame 286, TEFC enclosure, Baldor motor, configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a DOE PEI value of 0.9. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler for connection to the motor. This configuration supports across the line starting and operates in a 40°C ambient environment.
