This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. Construction includes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, allowing operation in clean water at temperatures up to 300°F. This configuration does not include a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 254T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and uses an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler and a standard coupler guard. This pump features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI value of 0.89.
