This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 6" suction and a 5" discharge. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and includes a bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a rear pullout design, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting and reducing piping strain.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG motor. It uses a 256JM motor frame with feet for mounting. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH electrical supply. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency criteria. It features an ambient temperature rating of 40°C and a counter-clockwise rotation when viewed from the drive end. The pump is configured for across the line starting and has a DOE pump energy index (PEI) of 0.92.
