This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps for filter installation.
This pump is configured with a 2 HP Baldor motor in a 145 JM frame style with feet. The motor operates at 1750 RPM with an ODP enclosure and is rated for 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The electrical system includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit is set for across-the-line starting at a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.86. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
