This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design incorporating a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP TEFC Baldor motor. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and uses a NEMA 364 T-frame. The unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. Starting is configured for across the line applications, and the motor features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA with a Woods coupler for the drive connection.
