This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve on a stainless steel shaft. The unit uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter impeller and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A bronze wear ring is integrated into the ANSI Class 125 flange configuration.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is a NEMA 286T frame model configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. It meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA using a Woods coupler. This equipment maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
