This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses ANSI Class 125 flanges for connection. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design includes a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and utilizes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and NEMA 286T frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with a 40°C ambient rating. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features a drip pan and a standard coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler and includes greasable bearings within the bearing frame. The pump is configured for across-the-line starting.
