This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a nominal diameter of 13-1/2". It incorporates a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 324 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH with an ODP enclosure. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler for connection to the motor. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
