This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze shaft sleeve and a stainless steel shaft. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame contains sealed-for-life ball bearings, and the pump includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and uses a 10 HP TEFC Baldor motor. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power and features a NEMA 215T frame. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler. The system provides a PEI value of 0.91. This configuration supports 40°C ambient operation and CCW rotation.
