This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and the system is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 250°F. The pump casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP TEFC Baldor Super E motor that meets EISA efficiency standards. The motor utilizes a NEMA 213 frame and is configured for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across-the-line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor and is protected by a standard coupler guard, with the rotation set to CCW as standard.
