This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and integrally cast mounting feet. The unit incorporates a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft, protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from circulating fluid. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT components maintains fluid integrity at pressures up to 125 PSI. This design incorporates a dry shaft construction that eliminates contact between the process fluid and the shaft.
The motor provides 75 HP at Premium Efficiency, utilizes a TEFC enclosure, operates at 3450 RPM, integrates Aegis Grounding, and functions on 380-460V / 3PH power, yielding a DOE PEI of 0.47. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
