This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is configured with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, with a rear pullout design for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a 213 JM motor frame style with feet, and operates on a 200V/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting configuration is across the line, and the unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures with CCW rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.96.
