This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It includes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to maintain the dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This assembly connects to the system piping via ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 200V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The motor conforms to a NEMA 145 T-frame and meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This model includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection. The assembly mounts onto a welded base equipped with an integral drip pan. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor, protected by a standard coupler guard.
