This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design to protect the shaft from the circulating fluid and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The rear pullout design permits servicing of the internal components without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge arrangement assists with piping alignment and self-venting.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is built on a 145 JM frame with feet and is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power. It meets Premium Efficiency standards as defined in MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment, adheres to NEMA standards, and is configured for CCW rotation with an across the line starting option.
