This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The casing includes integrated pressure tappings for monitoring suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure with a NEMA 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with across-the-line starting, and the motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding to protect internal components. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and includes an OSHA-compliant coupler guard with a Woods coupler. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
