This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connections. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the pump shaft.
The pump is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 182 T-frame. It operates at 1750 RPM and requires a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. This unit is configured with a welded base featuring an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.86.
