This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, rated for operation up to 225°F. The unit includes suction and discharge pressure tappings, flush seal line taps, and a rear pullout design. The discharge is positioned at the top center line to assist with piping alignment.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply using across the line starting. The motor uses a JM frame style with feet and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with standard CCW rotation and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
