This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the bearing frame includes greasable bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and features across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The motor is built for 40 °C ambient conditions and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding and has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
