This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The unit features a rear pullout design for servicing and a top centerline discharge to simplify piping. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor. The motor is a TEFC enclosure, Super E premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards. It is configured for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power and uses a 182 JM frame style with feet. The assembly includes a standard across-the-line starting option and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. This pump has a PEI value of 0.86.
