This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the system fluid. The mechanical seal uses a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is built with ANSI Class 250 flanges and includes a bronze wear ring. The casing features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and the rear pull-out design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping.
The pump is configured with a 25 HP Baldor motor in a 284JM frame style with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and utilizes a TEFC enclosure. Power requirements are 380V/60Hz/3PH with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature, adheres to NEMA standards, and utilizes CCW rotation. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and the assembly has a DOE PEI of 0.9.
