This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250 °F. The assembly is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges and is dynamically balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP TEFC Baldor Super E motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across-the-line starting within a NEMA 254 frame. This unit is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The pump is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI value of 0.91 and an HI energy rating of 9.
