This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The seal is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent fluid contact and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 284 T-style frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler. This equipment features a PEI of 0.9 and is rated for 40 °C ambient operation.
