This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250°F. The unit includes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections for pressure monitoring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor Super E motor in a NEMA 184 frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with an across-the-line starting option and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This assembly mounts on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a coupler guard. The pump complies with EISA standards and holds a DOE PEI of 0.89 and an HI Energy Rating of 11. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and operates at an ambient temperature of 40°C.
