This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction connection and a 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design that uses a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. This assembly includes gauge ports on the suction and discharge connections, a casing drain port, and AEGIS shaft grounding.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is a NEMA T-frame 286, configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The system is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly uses a Woods coupler and greasable bearings. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.97.
