This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes an 11" nominal impeller constructed of bronze and a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from system fluids. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with venting.
The pump is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 256JM frame style. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is configured for 40°C ambient operation with counter-clockwise rotation and across the line starting. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.97.
