This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly supports fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration assists with piping layouts.
The pump is configured with a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 145JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 230-460/60/3PH electrical supply. The TEFC motor enclosure meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements, including AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and counter-clockwise rotation. It carries a PEI of 0.86 and utilizes an across-the-line starting option.
