This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 284T frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure and is rated for 230-460/60/3PH power. It meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor. This configuration has a PEI of 0.92.
